Chelsea Football Club have reportedly completed the signing of Ecuadorian midfielder, Moises Caicedo from Brighton and Hove Albion.
The deal has been the most talked about on the lips of every football fan around the world since the 2023 summer transfer window opened. Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Chelsea have agreed on a £115 million transfer fee with Brighton for the midfielder.

Chelsea are expected to pay £100 million upfront plus £15 million in potential add-ons, half of which they believe are more easily achievable than the other. Brighton will also hold a sell-on clause as part of the deal. The fee is a transfer record for any player in the history of the English Premier League since Chelsea bought Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for £106.8 million.
Moises Caicedo has agreed on an eight-year deal with Chelsea, he is expected to be at Stamford Bridge until 2031 with an option to extend by an extra year. The midfielder is expected to undergo his medicals with the Blues on Monday, August 14, 2023.
