Arsenal's defender, Ben White, has been ruled out for next weekend's game against Manchester City after testing positive to Covid-19. The defender has missed the London derby against Chelsea. He became the club's latest player to test positive for the virus.

The club's manager, Mikel Arteta, confirmed to Sky Sports on Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 after the game against Chelsea, that nine of his first-team players have tested positive to Covid-19 since the start of the new season.

When he was asked about the possibility of Ben White returning for the game against Manchester City, he said,

The Gunners will be without Thomas Partey, Eddie Nketiah, and Alexandre Lacazette against Chelsea, but there is no news yet about the possibility of the players available for the game against Manchester City.
Arsenal has lost their first two games of the Premier League season and is yet to score a goal. This is the first time the Gunners are having to experience this phase.
