Nigerian hip-hop sensation, singer and songwriter Blaqbonez has joined forces with international music producer Jae5. The single comes forth as a lead off Blaqbonez's forthcoming sophomore studio album “Young Preacher” to reignite his artistry as one of Africa’s leading artists in the music scene.
Ace Jae5, famous for his innovative set of production for popular superstars like Burna Boy, Jhus, Dave, Tion Wayne and a whole host of others has curated the perfect instrumentals for Blaqbonez to deliver a smooth sonic experience.
“Back In Uni" is the latest release in what has been a string of splendid records by Blaqbonez. In this single, he emphasizes his playboy mantra telling a tale of a seemingly repentant guy who is now reminiscing about his escapades with his love interests.
Blaqbonez goes on to paint a picture of a young man who has lived a promiscuous life in the past. The percussion-loaded song is a strong record kicking off with the tantalizing line “All the hearts I broke in Lekki, Only God fit protect me” potentially to capture the attention of his listeners.
