Nigerian singer Zinoleesky has officially announced that he is gearing up to release a new single titled Tungba.
The revelation came with the release of its colorful cover art, hinting at a bold new direction for the street-pop star as he continues his run after dropping his debut album, Gen Z, in April 2025.
The artwork shows the singer dressed in a striking red patterned suit, positioned against a lively tropical background. Dominating the image is a large traditional talking drum, an unmistakable nod to the song’s title. In Nigerian music culture, Tungba is associated with upbeat, energetic rhythms, suggesting that the upcoming track will carry the lively, dance-ready vibe that has become one of Zinoleesky’s strongest trademarks.
His debut album Gen Z marked an important moment in his career, blending Afrobeats, street-pop, trap, and dancehall influences. Songs like Most Wanted and Fuji Garbage reinforced his reputation for balancing emotional depth with adrenaline-filled bangers.
With Tungba, Zinoleesky appears set to return fully to the high-energy sound that made him a standout name in Afrobeats. While the official release date has not been confirmed yet, the unveiling of the cover art signals that the song is expected to drop very soon.
