The Afrobeats scene erupted in excitement on Thursday, December 5, 2025 after Wizkid and Asake officially announced that they are working on a joint project titled Real Vol. 1.
The revelation came during an exclusive takeover on Apple Music Radio, putting an end to weeks of speculation among fans.
