Popular street hop act and Zazu singer, Portable, has stirred the waters of controversy with his reaction to the Headies Awards' winner for the Best Street Hop Artiste category following the conclusion of their award show.

According to Portable who had been disqualified from the award show for claiming involvement with the One Million Boys cultist group, he holds no regard for the Headies winner; Goya Menor who won the category of Best Street Hop Artiste with his Ameno Amapiano remix.

The singer had aired his opinion via an Instagram live stream, saying; "Wetin concern me with pesin wey dem give street artiste of the year? Your song blow? Which song you sing, you sabi sing? Since when you don sing that song, you sing another one wey blow?" Portable also communicated that while Goya Menor had been given street credibility with the win, he was out of his league.
Prior to his disqualification from the award show, Portable had been nominated under the category of Rookie of the Year with the likes of Fave, Magixx, Ugoccie and was also nominated under the category of Best Street Hop Artiste. He'd however received a warning from the Headies committee for threatening to harm organisers of the show and fellow nominees if he didn't secure a win. This, in addition to his claims of being in cohorts with the One Million Boys group had eventually led to his disqualification.
