American R&B singer Usher has teased the music video for his song Ruin featuring Nigerian singer and producer Pheelz from his upcoming album Coming Home. Usher shared the snippet via social media saying "Ruin feat. @Pheelz OUT TOMORROW | Music Video Premieres 6am PT/9am ET". This is the first collaboration between the two musicians. Ushe also features Burna Boy on his new album.

The 20-track album from the Super Bowl LVIII halftime performer is due out on February 9, 2024. His upcoming ninth studio album, Coming Home, features Latto, Burna Boy, 21 Savage, The-Dream, H.E.R., Summer Walker, and BTS Jung Kook. The 20-song album comes out two days before Ushers takes the stage at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to perform the halftime show at Super Bowl LVIII.
This unexpected but highly anticipated collaboration is just another feat for Nigerian artists and afrobeats on its accession to global dominance. In addition to the upcoming collaboration, Pheelz released the music video to his song Joy featuring Nigerian Rapper Olamide. The song comes off his 2023 EP Pheelz Good. On the other hand, Usher received five nominations in the music/recording categories for the 2024 NAACP Image Awards.
