Nigerian Afrobeats singer Tekno has dismissed viral reports that he collapsed on stage while on tour in South Africa.
A video had circulated online appearing to show the artist having a seizure and collapsing during a performance.
However, Tekno took to social media to set the record straight, stating that he was not the person who collapsed in the video and is currently not even in South Africa. He assured his fans that he is "hale and hearty" and doing well.
Also, Tekno offered a kind gesture, saying a special prayer for the artist who was actually in the viral clip. Meanwhile, this comes after his record label owner and colleague, Mr Eazi, had already debunked the rumors.
The clarification brings an end to the speculation and concern among Tekno's fans, who were worried about his well-being after seeing the viral video.
