Ghanaian Sensation Stonebwoy will be performing at the closing ceremony of the 13th African Games in Accra.
The Organizing Committee of the 2023 African Games has revealed the lineup of performers slated for the closing ceremony of this year's edition.
The performers encompass a diverse array of artists hailing from various corners of the continent. The star-studded lineup includes acclaimed Ghanaian Afro dancehall sensation Stonebwoy.
Wiyaala, Stanley Enow representing Cameroon, Innoss’b from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Emma’a from Gabon will also be performing. The closing ceremony is scheduled to take place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on March 23, 2024.
The African Games 2023, which has seen considerable success thus far, commenced on March 8, 2024. The opening ceremonies featured captivating performances from iconic Ghanaian music figures such as Ebo Taylor, Pat Thomas, Shatta Wale, and King Promise. Additional flair was brought by South African singer and dancer Kamo Mphela.
Throughout its duration, the 13th edition of the African Games has showcased thrilling displays of athleticism and skill, with 5000 elite athletes and coaches representing fifty-five African nations competing across twenty-nine selected sports disciplines.
