
Spotify has released exclusive performances of some of the biggest names; Wizkid, Olamide and others at the recently concluded Afro Nation Portugal 2026 festival.
oSpotify has released the first batch of exclusive performance videos from Afro Nation Portugal 2026, featuring some of the biggest names in Afrobeats, including Wizkid, Tyla, Olamide, and Young Jonn.
The newly released videos showcase live performances recorded during this year's edition of the festival, giving fans another opportunity to experience some of the event's standout moments.
It was also confirmed that eight additional performance videos from the festival will be released in the coming weeks.
The release reflects the continued global growth of Afrobeats and African music. According to Spotify, Tyla's biggest streaming markets over the past 28 days include the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Germany, and the Philippines. Wizkid's top audiences are in the United States, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and France.
Olamide continues to attract listeners across Nigeria, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, while Young Jonn has built a growing international audience in Nigeria, the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, and Ghana.
Speaking on the release, Spotify's Content Marketing Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, Rifumo Mdaka, said the initiative was aimed at allowing fans to relive memorable festival performances and stay connected to the artists beyond the event.
The Afro Nation Portugal 2026 performance videos add to Spotify's growing collection of exclusive live performance content, following similar releases featuring international artists in recent months.
