Baba Dee Blasts Sound Sultan's 'fake friends' for riding on the singer's death.

Nigerian veteran singer Dare Fasasi, popularly known as Baba Dee, has blasted people he referred to as 'fake friends' of his late brother, Lanre Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan, for riding on the singer's death.

According to Baba Dee, a lot of the late singer's friends are fake as they are merely using his death to generate social media content.

In a post he shared on his Instagram story on Wednesday, August 11th, 2021, Baba Dee revealed that most of Sound Sultans' friends are yet to reach out to his wife, and as well, they did not attend his memorial event.

In the post, he wrote:

Fake friends, not a call to his wife, didn't bother to attend his memorial event on a sit at home Saturday. Posting pictures and videos on social media, your deaths shall also be used to generate social media content.

Sound Sultan, died on the morning of Sunday, the 11th of July 2021 after battling with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma. He was 44 years old at the time of his death.

He was buried according to Muslim rites in the United States of America, where he gave up the ghost.
