In addition to his directorial debut, the rapper has also announced his musical comeback with his first single titled 'Gas Me Up' which also be released on the same day as the 'Tribal Mark' movie from his upcoming studio album 'Knife and Fork'. Before the launch of his forthcoming album, it has already sparked online controversy. Skepta has apologized and taken down the artwork for his new single Gas Me Up (Diligent), following allegations that it referenced the Holocaust.

The picture depicted a gathering of men with bald heads, and one of them had the phrase "Gas Me Up" tattooed on his head. Swiftly, individuals began connecting the image to the tragic deaths of Jewish people in Nazi gas chambers during World War Two. Skepta subsequently offered an apology, recognizing the potential for offense caused by the association.
