He has won many awards including Artist of the Year, Best Album of the Year, Most Popular Song of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards in 2000 and in 2003 at the Ghana Music Awards, he won Contemporary Highlife Artist, Contemporary Highlife Song, and Contemporary Highlife Album of the year.
After a surprise performance, Shatta Wale took the stage to express his gratitude to Daddy Lumba on behalf of himself, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Samini, Medikal, and more.
