Shallipopi's 'Shakespopi' album dominates Apple Music Naija top 100

Fast-rising singer, Crown Uzama, better known as Shallipopi, has made a significant impact on the Apple Music charts with the release of his new album, Shakespopi.

Within just 48 hours of its debut, the album has taken over the top nine positions on the Apple Music Naija Top 100 chart.

Shakespopi marks Shallipopi's second studio album, arriving just two years after his rise to fame in the music industry. The album contains nine tracks, all of which are now occupying the top spots on the chart, surpassing Portable and Skepta’s Tony Montana, which had held a strong position on the chart for several weeks.

The overwhelming popularity of Shallipopi's new album has sparked speculations among music critics, who have suggested the possibility of an artificial boost of the songs on Apple Music known as "farming."

Despite these rumors, the singer's success on the charts is undeniable, as he continues to make waves in the Nigerian music scene.
