American rapper and music mogul Sean Diddy Combs has been placed on suicide watch at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center following his recent arrest on multiple serious charges, including sex trafficking, kidnapping, and racketeering.

Sean Diddy Combs was taken into custody on Monday, September 16, 2024, after being denied bail twice by the federal court.

Reports by People Magazine on September 19, 2024, state that due to the high-profile nature of his case, Diddy is under close observation while awaiting trial. Also, prosecutors have accused the rapper of running a criminal enterprise since 2008. This enterprise allegedly relied on drugs and violence to coerce women into fulfilling his sexual desires.

However, in an attempt to secure his release, Diddy's legal team offered $50 million for bail. By this, $48 million of the amount covered by his Miami Star Island mansion. Also, the remaining $2 million backed by his mother’s Miami residence. Despite these efforts, the court denied the bond, deeming him a flight risk. Also, his lawyers proposed house arrest with the condition of no female visitors, but that request was rejected as well.

Meanwhile, if convicted on all charges, Combs could face a prison sentence ranging from 15 years to life. Additionally, his arrest follows raids on his properties in Los Angeles and Miami in March 2024. This was where law enforcement reportedly found 1,000 bottles of lubricant and three AR-15 rifles.

Lastly, Diddy is expected to return to court later this week as the case unfolds.
