The song's unparalleled success extends to Spotify, where it became the first Nigerian song to surpass 1 billion streams. In the United States, Calm Down by Rema broke records as the first Nigerian song to accumulate a billion streams, peaking at No. 3 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and spending over a year on the chart.
