Nigerian sensation Rema has once again stolen the spotlight by clinching the prestigious 'Best Songwriter' award at the eighth edition of the Beatz Awards, themed 'The Octave.'
The event, hosted by comedian Akuidolo Orevaoghene, aka Forever, and actress Alexis Ukpabia, celebrated various entertainers, but it was Rema who stood out.
The Afrobeats sensation's lyrical prowess earned him the 'Best Songwriter' accolade, adding another feather to his cap in the music industry.
Among the other winners were DJ Nana, who secured the Female DJ of the Year award, and Saszy Afroshii, who claimed the Female Producer of the Year title along with a substantial N1 million cash prize.
Magicsticks emerged victorious as the Male Producer of the Year, while Blaise Beat earned recognition as the Afro Highlife Producer of the Year.
