Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has announced his intentions to venture into the fashion industry with the production of brotherhood and sisterhood clothing lines.
In a video that surfaced online on Saturday, April 6, 2024, Portable outlined his plans, revealing that he intends to produce two distinct sets of clothing tailored for brotherhood and sisterhood. He specified that the brotherhood clothing would be exclusively designed for men, while the sisterhood clothing would cater solely to women.
Emphasizing the importance of maintaining the distinction between the two sets of apparel, Portable issued a stern warning against any form of cross-dressing. He asserted that only men should wear brotherhood clothing, and only women should wear sisterhood clothing.
He further warned that individuals who deviate from these guidelines by wearing clothing not designated for their gender would face repercussions, including being identified, beaten, and disciplined.
Portable's statement comes in the midst of ongoing controversy sparked by the recent recognition of Bobrisky, a male crossdresser, who was awarded the title of best dressed in the female category at a notable event.
