The nominations for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards have been revealed, showcasing Taylor Swift and SZA as frontrunners with eight and six nominations, respectively. Both artists have earned recognition in the Video of the Year category, with Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" and SZA's "Kill Bill." Following closely are Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Smith and Kim Petras, all of whom secured five nominations each.
