Nigerian street-hop singer, Okikiola Habeeb, popularly known as Portable, has been disqualified from this year's headies awards, and as expected, Nigerians have reacted to the news.

The controversial singer was recently in the news after he made a video taking responsibility for the formation of "One Million Boys" and "Ajah Boys", both infamous cultist groups in Lagos, in a viral video which he deleted, after which the Nigerian police launched an investigation as regards his claims.

As a means to control the damage, the singer retracted his statement, saying that the one million boys he meant were mere "followers."
