Renowned Nigerian Gospel singer and pastor, Nathaniel Bassey, has shared the remarkable story of how he received an invitation to perform at the US Presidential inaugural prayer breakfast.
While ministering at Pastor Poju Oyemade's World Faith Believers Convention (WOFBEC), Bassey revealed that it all started with a phone call from Reverend Merrie Turner. According to Nathaniel Bassey, Reverend Turner shared that she had been praying when God instructed her to invite Bassey to "release His glory upon the United States."
Bassey quoted Reverend Turner as saying, "I was in prayer, and the Lord says to me to send for you to come release the glory of God upon our Nation." This divine instruction led to the historic invitation of Nathaniel Bassey to perform at the US Presidential inaugural prayer breakfast.
