During an interview on the red carpet at the premiere of the Bob Marley biopic film 'One Love,' Zuri Marley, the granddaughter of the late Reggae legend, expressed her desire for her grandfather to collaborate with two Nigerian music icons.
She selected Burna Boy and Fela Kuti for this hypothetical collaboration. She said, "I am coming back to tell you the person who I would want my grandpa to collaborate with is Burna Boy. Fela Kuti and Burna Boy. You know what I mean. Africa Unite".

Similar to Bob Marley, Fela Kuti used his music as a tool to confront social and cultural injustices in Nigeria, often leading to clashes with successive military regimes. Although not an activist in the same vein as Bob Marley and Fela Kuti, Burna Boy's music also addresses prevalent corruption and injustice in Nigeria.
