In an exciting announcement, the Headies reveal the hosts for the Awards night taking place this Sunday, September 3, 2023.
The Headies Awards will return for its 16th edition this Sunday, September 3, 2023, and anticipations are high. Ahead of the prestigious ceremony, a stunning performance lineup has already been announced. This includes old veterans like Wande Coal and Kcee as well as new cats like Rema and Arya Starr, Asake and more.

Feeling the anticipation for the awards, the Headies have announced two exciting personalities to be the hosts of the event. The awards will be hosted by award-winning Nigerian actress, Osas Ighodaro. Ighodaro emerged as the highest-grossing Nollywood actress in 2018. She was also awarded Best Actress in a Drama two times in a row at the 2022 and 2023 AMVCA for her roles in Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story and Man of God respectively. This will be her second year in a row hosting the glamorous event.
Also, her co-host is just as exciting a personality. Ighodaro will share the stage with Terrence J a popular American TV host and actor best known for his work at 106 & Park and E! News.
The Headies are awarding notable feats, performances and projects from 2022-2023. The competition in some categories is so stiff, that it is all that more exciting to guess the winners. The Headies also recognises talents from outside Nigeria and all over the world with its regional nomination categories and its international act category.
