Former Big Brother season winner Whitemoney has had his page taken down by a hacker.
It was with great surprise this morning that fans of former Big Brother season winner and current Big Brother housemate, Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney, saw that almost all of his content had been taken down and replaced with photos of a white hacker they did not recognise.
No one is sure of the reason for this hacking of his Instagram page, but his 1.9 million followers would undoubtedly like an answer. It is still unclear if the person who took down the page is demanding anything, but he has made the page private and removed Whitemoney’s profile photo. The page is currently locked, so if you were not a follower of Whitemoeny’s page previously, you will not be able to get into it now.
Whitemoney is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and reality TV star who gained many followers as a housemate on the sixth season of Big Brother Naija's 'Shine Ya Eyes' reality show. Since he emerged as the winner of that season of the Big Brother reality show, he has been making music, promoting products, and generally entertaining his fans. This allowed his Instagram page to grow to the impressive 1.9 million followers that it had before it got hacked.
While some are commiserating with him on the loss of his Instagram page, some of the commenters are sceptical and are suggesting that it is part of a strategy made up by his team to gain attention and sympathy from his fans outside the Big Brother House to help his cause to win this current season of the Big Brother reality show.
