Nigerian singer-songwriter, Simisola "Simi” Kosoko believes the government will do anything to stop the protest instead of reforming the police.
Simi took to social media on the 19th of October to express her opinions on the ongoing Nationwide #EndSARS campaign. In her words:

However, the “Duduke” crooner earlier expressed that she hopes the movement would go beyond reforming the police but to reforming the entire government. In her words:
I wonder how we can deliberately and collectively make sure this movement goes even beyond Reforming the police to reforming the entire government system. We have momentum - and I'm hopeful that the ripple effect that reinvent Nigeria as a whole #EndSARs
