The rapper decided what was best was to follow an internet troll's wife, who he thought might be "miserable."
Canadian superstar Aubrey Drake Graham, popularly known as Drake, is currently trending on social media after his classic roast of an internet troll who brought his son into their conversation.
The drama started when Drake commented on an Instagram post from an NBA shooting coach named Lethal Shooter, who was showing support for excited fathers of NBA players like LeVar Ball and Tee Morant. According to the multi-Grammy award-winning rapper, any father should be thrilled to see their son reach the elite level. He commented:
Imagine your son makes the league and he's Ja or Melo or Lonzo. All you can do is be elated and competitive and it's a right of passage to that the OG's talk shit. I know I'mma be this way even if my son is in a rubix cube competition.
After the Drake comment, an Instagram user named Ceddy Bowden made a reference to the rapper using Ghostwriters, bringing his son into the convo as well. He wrote:
Ya son prolly play with ghostwriters
In response to the troll, the rapper simply told him he had followed his wife, who might be miserable, on the same app. He wrote
I just followed your girl cause she’s prob miserable and needs some excitement in her life.

After that, the troll’s wife, Toni, responded to Drake’s following. She posted:
Oh hey @champagnepapi, my husband @ceddybo_ybagnm decides to be a troll and now @champagnepapi thinking I need excitement in my life.
After seeing her story, Drake continued the conversation by sliding into her DM and saying:
I’m here for u ma.
