AfroFuture Festival 2023 will be held in El Wak Sports Stadium in Accra, Ghana, from December 28 to 29. Moreover, Afrofuture, formerly known as Afrochella, celebrates African culture and showcases the talents of African artists and creatives. Nigeria's hottest musician, Davido, along with J Hus and Black Sherif, will headline the festival.
The festival theme for 2023 is "Black Unification & Pan-Africanism". This year's theme is to celebrate the achievement of black creatives in key industry sectors of music, art, and culture. The seventh edition promises to connect the thrilling and thriving millennial talent in Africa to the global diaspora. Afrofuture announced the main headliners through its social media channels.
Burnaboy and Stonebwoy headlined the 2022 edition. The two-day event promises an outer-worldly experience of African music, art, and the finest and refined cuisine. Additional Afrofuture events scheduled for 2023 encompass a two-week exhibition spanning from December 18 to 31, which delves into digital experiences and panel discussions in the world of business, music, fashion, music, and art. The second activity will be the Afrofuture Music Museum. This musical experience allows audiences to take a walk through the past into the future of African music.
