Nigerian singer Davido has taken a swipe at TVC television following criticism from one of its presenters, Nyma Akashat Zibiri, over his recent comments on the state of the economy.

During a recent podcast appearance, Davido expressed his concerns about the economy, stating that it was in shambles and advising Americans not to invest in the country. Nyma, a presenter on TVC, responded by saying that Davido's comments were hindering President Bola Tinubu's efforts to attract foreign investors.

In a series of tweets on X, Davido taunted TVC, calling them out and implying that he and other influential personalities are the true ambassadors of Nigeria. He also praised his own accent during the interview, saying it was "very demure."

Davido's response has sparked a mixed reaction from fans and followers. While some defended his right to free speech, others criticized his comments as insensitive.
