The DWM frontline act and owner, who is currently the talk of the town after he released his highly anticipated studio album titled 'Timeless' which has continued to dominate the music scene - locally and internationally - decided to remain happy despite his recent loss.
Set to perform his 'Timeless' album for the first time in the motherland at the 50,000-capacity Tafawa Balewa Square Lagos on Sunday, April 23, 2023, the singer during the press conference for the event spoke on the plans for the event and other interesting things to look forward to.
During the press conference, a journalist swayed away from the primary subject of the press conference and asked why the singer didn't infuse more personal content in his new album.

Answering the question, Davido made it known that he has always been the one that keeps his music happy and fun and that is the mindset he brought to the 'Timeless' album. He said:
There's emotion but not too much emotion in the album. If you listen to Davido's music over the years, I have always been a happy person whether I was going through something or not.
That side of my life, if I want to talk about it, there's time for that but on this album that's not what I was going for.
