Nigerian music star Davido has reacted to Asake’s newly released album, M$NEY, during his latest interview session on Twitch.
While speaking during the session, Davido gave a brief but supportive reaction to the project, asking viewers, “Have you listened to Asake’s new album?” before adding, “Shoutout to Asake.”
The comment has drawn attention from fans, especially as M$NEY is one of the most talked-about Nigerian music releases of May 2026. Asake’s album has continued to generate conversations across streaming platforms and social media since its release.
Davido’s reaction also highlights the continued mutual respect among top Afrobeats stars, with his shoutout seen as a positive nod to Asake’s latest body of work.
Davido’s comment also comes during a busy period for the Afrobeats star, who has recently been active beyond music. He was appointed Chairman of the Osun State Sports Trust Fund, a role created to support sports financing and development in Osun State.
As part of his early activities in the role, Davido travelled to Osun State and revealed that one of his first projects involves expanding the Osogbo stadium from about 5,000 capacity to 15,000 capacity, a move aimed at improving sports infrastructure in the state.
