Davido reacts to Anthony Joshua's victory over Francis Ngannou

Singer Davido has reacted to Anthony Joshua's victory over Francis Ngannou in the highly anticipated boxing match which was in Saudi Arabia.

Davido who expressed his support for Anthony Joshua even though he finds himself falling in love with the antics of the Cameroon mixed martial boxer, Francis Ngannou. The 30 BG boss however reaffirmed his love and support for AJ from the motherland (Nigeria).

His post on social media read, “As a Nigerian of course I want AJ to win … but e get one soft spirit wey this Francis get and plus his story again … u go come Dey use style gbadun him way!! 😂 But gotta stick with the Homeland 🇳🇬.”

Davido's support finally paid off as Joshua knocked out Ngannou in the second round of the match which was held on March 8, 2024, in the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This prompted a follow-up message that showed how shocked the singer was at the speed at which the fight had been concluded. His follow-up post read, “Wait wat ?? I just tweeted … nawa … anyway up 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬💪🏾. 4 min difference 😂😂😂.”
