Singer Davido has reacted to the ongoing presidential elections in Zimbabwe.
Multiple award-winning singer and performer David Adeleke, who is popularly known as Davido, took to his social media platform today, Wednesday, August 23, 2023, to react to the ongoing presidential election in Zimbabwe.
The singer, in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, wished Zimbabweans a successful and peaceful elections as they decide on who would hold the office of the president for years to come.
David, who is currently in Ghana, also confirmed that he would be releasing the music video for his hit song Feel as soon as Unavailable surpasses 100 million views on YouTube.
According to Al Jazeera, this would be the second democratic election in Zimbabwe's history and the first presidential election since the election of the Late Robert Mugabe. The election, which is today, Wednesday, August 23, 2023, would see the country elect a new president, 210 national lawmakers and 1,970 local government and municipal leaders.
