Renowned Afrobeat superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has added his voice to the ongoing conversation regarding the Nigerian delegate list at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai.

Davido's input follows actress Toke Makinwa's recent prominence in discussions surrounding the list of Nigerian delegates.

Questions arose regarding Toke Makinwa's inclusion, prompting scrutiny of the extensive delegate list, which ranked Nigeria with 1,411 individuals in Dubai, the third-highest representation among over 120 participating countries.

Expressing his views, Davido highlighted the unusual nature of being unable to share personal pictures from Dubai amidst the COP28 discussions. In a statement, he remarked, "So person wey just really go flex for Dubai now on him own no fit post shiit funny AF … I love it."

The online discourse reflects public curiosity and concern over the composition of the Nigerian delegation at the climate conference, bringing attention to the number of representatives and the selection criteria for inclusion.

As the conversation continues to unfold, it sparks broader discussions about transparency and representation in international forums.
