Renowned Nigerian singer, Davido, has once again demonstrated his philanthropic nature by gifting a young photographer, a Fujifilm GFX 100 ii medium-format mirrorless camera worth approximately N12 million ($7499).
In a post on Monday, June 3, 2024, the photographer, named Tosin Mosi, had reached out to Davido on social media, requesting assistance in purchasing the camera, and the music star kindly obliged.
This act of kindness is not an isolated incident, as Davido has consistently shown his commitment to giving back to the community. Earlier this year, he donated a staggering N300 million to orphanages across Nigeria, with the Coalition of Orphanages and Children's Homes in Nigeria (COCHIN) being a major beneficiary. COCHIN praised Davido's generosity, stating that 42 of their 52 member organizations received support, a feat unprecedented in the country.
