Nigerian singer Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, popularly known as Dammy Krane, has announced the launch of a prison reform foundation following his release from prison.

The foundation aims to advocate for the rights of those illegally detained.

Dammy Krane's decision comes after his recent experience, where he was arrested and detained over defamation claims and publishing slanderous material about his colleague, Davido. He had accused Davido of murder and made other controversial statements, leading to his arrest.

However, thanks to the intervention of social media activist Verydarkman, Davido released Dammy Krane from prison custody. Also, in his first public statement, Dammy expressed gratitude to Verydarkman and apologized for his past actions. He acknowledged that he had said many inappropriate things.

Now, Dammy Krane is making the most of his second chance by giving back to the community. On X, Dammy Krane announced the establishment of his prison reform foundation. He stated, "I'M STARTING A PRISON REFORM FOUNDATION FOR THE ILLEGALLY DETAINED #FreedomIsPriceless."
