Nigerian singer and Mavin signee, Charles Chibueze Chukwu, popularly known as Crayon, has shared insights into his past relationship, shedding light on his ex-girlfriend's infidelity before fame.
In a candid conversation with his followers on his X page on Thursday, May 2, 2024, Crayon disclosed that despite warnings from friends about his girlfriend's alleged infidelity, he chose to overlook the signs due to his deep affection for her. He revealed that during their three-year relationship, which coincided with his time as a virgin, he discovered she had cheated on him three times. Despite the betrayals, Crayon admitted to maintaining his love for her.
One significant factor contributing to the strain in their relationship was her lack of belief in Crayon's music career. Coming from a neighborhood where success in the music industry was rare, she doubted his potential for success. However, Crayon's fortunes changed when he was signed by Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy.
Following his success, Crayon revealed that his ex-girlfriend reached out to him, but he chose to disregard her advances, feeling that he had outgrown her. He expressed relief that there was no evidence of their past relationship, as smartphones were not prevalent during their time together, sparing him from potential reminders of their past.
