The emo-afrobeats star has announced his second official single of the year.
Nigeria's sensational singer, songwriter, and producer, Chukwuka Ekweani, popularly known as CKay, has teased a new single, 'Egwu Eji'.
The global star, who already dropped a single this year featuring Nigerian hip-hop legend Olamide, titled 'Wahala,' is following up with another record.
The former Chocolate City signee recently unveiled his own imprint alongside his friend Joseph Salubi, tagged Boyfriend Music. The music management and publishing company, which has also established an American subsidiary, Boyfrnd Music LLC., provides support to artists, songwriters, and producers globally.

Following the announcement of the new company, the singer swiftly followed with new music. On Wednesday, August 28th, 2024, CKay shared the snippet of the upcoming song 'Egwu Eji,' which loosely translates to "something special" in Igbo language and is scheduled to be released on Friday, August 30th, 2024.
