American comedian Chris Rock has experienced an increase in ticket sales for his upcoming comedy tour after he was slapped by actor Will Smith at the 2022 Oscars.
The incident that has become a global topic occurred after Chris Rock, who was on stage to present the Oscar for documentary feature, made a joke about Will Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith being in "G.I. Jane" because of her shaved head. As a response, Will took the stage to slap Rock.

According to American outfit Variety, secondary ticket purchasing site TickPick made it known that they sold more tickets for the comedian's shows last night than they had in the entire past month.
We sold more tickets to see Chris Rock overnight than we did in the past month combined.
