Cheque talks about his past with Asake in school

Nigerian rapper, Super Boy Cheque has made a surprising revelation about his past relationship with fellow artist, Asake.

While in an interview with Hip TV, Cheque shared that he and Asake dated roommates. This was while they were students at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife.

Furthermore, Cheque explained that he met Yhemolee through an ex-girlfriend in 2012. So, this led him to connect with other musicians like, Fireboy DML, Blaqbonez, and eventually Asake.

Also, he recalled how he and Asake would often visit their girlfriends, who were roommates, together, describing it as a "very crazy time."

Additionally, the rapper emphasized the strong bond he shares with his friends and fellow artists. He stated that he has been friends with Fireboy DML and Blaqbonez for 14 years. He also revealed that he initially pursued chemical engineering but eventually succumbed to his passion for music, which he considers a "calling."
