African Giant Burna Boy's sixth studio album, 'Love, Damini', is now certified gold, according to the Syndicat National de L'Edition Phonographique (SNEP).
Love Damini is the sixth studio album from Burna Boy which was released in July 2022 and has now become certified gold.
Love Damini bags a total of seven certifications

It was released through Atlantic Records and houses 19 tracks with guest collaborations from prominent global stars such as J Hus, Victony, Popcaan, Ed Sheeran, J Balvin, and Khalid. According to SNEP, Love Damini is now 50,000 equivalent in sales. One prominent song Last Last from this hit album became one of the unofficial songs of 2022 summer.
Last Last has received over 256 million streams, and For Your Hand, featuring British songwriter Ed Sheeran has amassed over 161 million streams on Spotify. Last last received a nomination for Best Global Music Performance at the 64th Grammy Awards, while the Love, Damini album secured a nomination for Best Global Music Album in 2022. Burna Boy lost both categories to Masa Takumi and Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini & Nomcebo Zikode.

Burna Boy has earned a nomination in the Best Afrobeats category at the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards, where he faces strong competition from other Nigerian superstars such as Asake, Davido, Ayra Starr, Aya Nakamura, and Rema. Additionally, Burna Boy has received nominations in the Best African Category and Best Live Performance. The 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards will take place on November 5, 2023.
