The Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar has set a new YouTube record courtesy of his appearance on the Indian song.

Heavyweight Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has set a new YouTube record after he appeared as a guest artiste on Sidhu Moose Wala's posthumous single 'Mera Na'

The Grammy award-winning act who was a friend of the late Indian musician paid tribute to Sidhu Moose Wala after his death and equally appeared on the late artist's posthumous release.

Sidhu Moose Wala who was a Punjabi rapper, singer, and songwriter was shot and killed in May 2022 and his posthumous single 'Mera Na' was released on April 7th, 2023.

The smash tune garnered over 14.9 million views on Youtube within 24 hours, with over 2 million 'likes' and one million comments, making Burna Boy own the record for the most YouTube streams in the opening 24 hours of a release by a Nigerian artist.
