2024 Grammy performer, Burna Boy was seen in a video leaving the stage during a performance in Ivory Coast after his microphone did not seem to be working.
In a video posted online, Burna Boy was seen trying to serenade a crowd at a concert in Ivory Coast without knowing that the microphone was not connected properly to the speakers. His headphones were on so he was only hearing playback and did not realise it until after a while. Once Burna Boy realised this, he left the stage to have a stern talk with the show organisers. He did not return to finish the show.
Burna Boy is one to take his craft really seriously and it is no surprise to fans that he went the extra mile to leave. He recently tied with Tems as the Nigerian artist with the most Billboard Hot 100 entries. As well as being featured on Barack Obama's favourite songs of the year playlist.
His Northern American tour 'I told them' is to continue this February, 2024.
