This second round of their beef was reignited following BNXN's tweet where the Bad Since '97 star threw shade at Ruger. BNXN said; "What if I ? what if I ?what if I ?COOOKKKK??‍? #BadSince97" while sharing a link to his new project and screenshots of his song with Wizkid as well as that of his album currently sitting at the number one position on Apple Music's Nigerian album chart.

Ruger hit back afterwards saying "Get a solo hit then talk to me fatty bum bum." To the latter's tweet, BNXN promptly replied by quoting the tweet and stating; "Project #1 and I didn’t have to whine my waist ?". BNXN then buttressed his response with a screenshot displaying the position of Ruger's projects; Pandemic EP and The Second Wave (Deluxe edition), on the Apple music album charts at number 64 and 33 respectively. In between this, BNXN also reacted to Ruger's response with another tweet where he said; "Man had to body shame? ?? hurt him deeeeep ?"

Recall that the Ruger VS BNXN beef came to be following Ruger's response to a BNXN fan who'd interjected his question and answer session on Twitter to tweet at Ruger stating that BNXN was a better artiste than he was. Ruger had in turn responded to this statement by speaking on his achievements in comparison to BNXN's. This Twitter war had also stirred up Omah Lay and Victony who'd had a brief but now squashed altercation.

BNXN's Bad Since '97 which currently tops the Apple music Nigeria album charts is the singer's sophomore project and was released on the 24th of August with features from A-listers namely Olamide, Wande Coal and Wizkid.
