Asake's new single MMS, featuring Wizkid, has achieved a significant milestone on Spotify Nigeria.
Within just six hours of its release, the track garnered over 121,000 streams, debuting at #9 on the platform's charts. Notably, MMS is allegedly the first song in history to exceed 100,000 streams on Spotify Nigeria within such a short tracking period.
Lungu Boy follows Asake's previous successful albums, Mr. Money With The Vibe and Work of Art, both of which solidified his status in the Afrobeats genre. Asake has been on his Lungu Boy World Tour, which started on June 26, 2024, at Afro Nation Portugal. It is set to conclude on October 6, 2024, at the Promiseland Festival in Gold Coast, Australia.
