Here are the winners across different categories at the recently concluded 2026 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs)
The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards brought together some of the biggest names in music at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 27, with artists recognised across major, genre-specific and technical categories.
Madonna emerged as the biggest winner of the night with seven awards, including Artist of the Year, Best Dance and Best Collaboration alongside Sabrina Carpenter for “Bring Your Love.” Taylor Swift also enjoyed a successful night, taking home Video of the Year for “The Fate of Ophelia” and Best Direction for “Opalite.”
Other winners included BTS, who claimed Song of the Year and Best K-Pop for “Swim” as well as Best Group, while Sienna Spiro was named Best New Artist. LISA won Best Pop with “Dream” featuring Kentaro Sakaguchi, Cardi B and Kehlani took Best Hip-Hop for “Safe,” and Bruno Mars won Best R&B for “I Just Might.”
