Swahili "Pana" Covers - Someone tell Tekno

This year was particularly good for Nigerian singer Tekno. Not only in Nigeria but across Africa and beyond. Only this year, Tekno also made his debut performances in Kenya at Galileos and at Tanzania's Fiesta mega show.

Many thought that Tekno had made his biggest hits with the 2015 songs: Duro and Wash but 2016 came with an unlikely hit song "Pana". From its unusual tempo, to an artistic video, there is no pointing at why we all really love the song.

As we look back at some Nigerian songs that took East Africa by storm this year, we picked some Swahili covers of Pana for your perusal. Delivered by Tanzanian artistes: Melodyne and Chris Roby, they both use their skill to give the classic song an East African twist.
