Chama, Manula and Kibu Denis to rejoin Simba camp in Bunju
In a much-anticipated reunion, Clatous Chama, Aishi Manula, and Kibu Denis are soon expected to rejoin the Simba SC camp in Bunju.
The trio, who played pivotal roles in the recent AFCON finals in Ivory Coast, returned to the team's training facility as they are waiting for Tanzania’s NBC Premier League to resume.
Imani Kajula, the Chief Executive Officer of Simba when speaking with Mwanaspoti expressed satisfaction with the team's current composition, stating, "We've fulfilled the coach's player requests and made signings in the transfer window.”With the return of Chama, Manula, and Kibu Denis, along with other AFCON participants, we are now poised to reclaim our glory in Msimbazi."
The camp atmosphere has been further energized with the presence of recent signings, including Freddy Michael from Ivory Coast, and local talents Edwin Balua, Saleh Karabaka, and Ladack Chasambi.
Henock Inonga is the only player who will be absent from the Simba SC camp since his national team DRC Congo qualified to be among the 16 teams advancing in the AFCON tournament.
Simba is currently in third place in the Premier League with 23 points after 10 matches, also competing in the group stage of the CAF Champions League and participating in the Confederation Cup (ASF).
