Grammy Award-winning artist Tems has announced the title and release date for her debut album Born in the Wild.

She made this announcement after her spectacular performance at Coachella with Wizkid and Justin Beiber. Tems has yet to announce the tracklist, cover art, or features on her first-ever album. Tems gained significant prominence when she was featured with Wizkid on their award-winning track Essence. Ever since then, it has been one success after the other. Tems has gone on to write and produce for some of the biggest artists in the world. However, the downside to all this is she was never able to release her Album. Since her newfound fame, she has released her EP, For Broken Ears. She has won a Grammy award, two American music awards, three BET Awards, and much more.

Although there is no current information on who could be featured on her new album this is an opinion piece on potential collaborations. This is a speculative post about the potential features Tems may have on her highly anticipated album.

Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez

Tems was recently seen alongside Hip Hop custodians Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez. Previously, she was spotted with Big Kala and Blaqbonez in November 2023. Their recording session was filled with mutual respect and love, sparking speculation about potential collaborations on an album.

Justin Bieber and Justin Skye

Justin Bieber joined WizKid and Tems for a remix of Essence in 2021 and even made a surprise appearance on stage during Tems's Coachella performance in 2024. With their successful collaboration on Essence, Bieber might become an international feature on Tems's album. Additionally, Tems was seen with Justine Skye and Hailey Bieber in May 2023, with Justine photographed in the studio, hinting at possible collaborations.

Omah Lay

Omah Lay and Tems are managed by the same manager, Muyiwa Awomiyi. They made headlines in 2020 when they were arrested in Uganda for violating Covid-19 regulations. Both artists were detained by Katwe Police in Uganda after performing at The Big Brunch event at Speke Resort, Kampala. During the festive period, they appeared in court and spent time in jail. Given their shared management, a collaboration between Omah Lay and Tems would be a logical and potentially fruitful venture.

Wizkid

Four years ago, Tems and Wizkid collaborated on Essence, a track from Wizkid's Made in Lagos album, igniting magic in the music scene. This song played a significant role in propelling Tems to become Nigeria's top female artist, all achieved without releasing a solo album. In a nod to the magic they created, Wizkid might feature on Tems's upcoming album, Born in the Wild, creating a full-circle moment for both artists. Additionally, during her Coachella performance, Tems brought Wizkid and Justin Bieber on stage, marking their first performance together since 2021. Shortly after her Coachella set, Tems surprised fans with the visual announcement of her debut album.

Ayra Starr

Since International Women's Month, there's been a surge in visibility for female artists. Simi and Tiwa Savage delighted fans with their first collaboration, Men are Crazy. Meanwhile, Tems and Tyla joined forces on No. 1, a track from Tyla's latest album, which soared to Number 5 on the United States Afrobeat charts. Bloody Civilian and Candy Bleakz teamed up for Debe. Ayra Starr shared videos of her and Tems vibing to her single Commas, even creating TikTok content together, possibly hinting at a studio session between them, following recent trends. Ayra Starr could potentially be featured on Tems's new album.
