There are four games to the end of the season and it looks like football fans will be having another photo finish when the season ends this month, May 2022. However, Manchester City have been perfect since that defeat against the Eagles, their recent victory was a 4-0 win over Leeds United. The win reduced the goal difference between both teams to one point.
LIVERPOOL:
The Reds were 14 points behind Manchester City in January 2022, having played two games less than the Manchester club. Jurgen Klopp's men were resilient in their quest to win the Premier League for the second time in the space of three years.
If Liverpool wins the Premier League they will be the first team in the history of the league to be champions after being behind the leaders with 14 points. The Reds are on a quest to win a quadruple and this might be a source of inspiration for the Merseyside team.
