As the Premier League enters week 3, the FPL campaign is heating up, and managers are eagerly assessing their squads' performances alongside who will get the captain armband.

The opening two game weeks have already thrown up surprises, with unexpected heroes emerging and pre-season favourites struggling to find their footing. As we head into Week 3, the transfer market is buzzing with activity, managers are fine-tuning their lineups, seeking to capitalize on form players and exploit favourable fixtures.

The FPL managers are looking to make the right decisions when it comes to who will get the armband to which players will be in the starting lineup. However, we have picked the best captain options for you going into this game week.

(1) Bukayo Saka:

The Arsenal midfielder has been the center of everything good that has happened to Arsenal in their opening two games of the league this season, he has managed a goal and two assists so far which has given him 18 points. The game against Brighton looks like one that would bring returns for the Englishman.

(2) Erling Haaland:.

The Norwegian striker bagged his 10th hattrick for Manchester City when the Cityzens hosted Ipswich in their last league game. Haaland has scored four goals so and he looks to continue in the same performance when they face West Ham United in week 3.

(3) Mohamed Salah:

Two goals and an assist for the Egyptian King in the opening two games of the opening FPL weeks. However, Liverpool face a tricky fixture against Mancheater United at Old Trafford and if there is anyone that can lead the Reds to victory then it is the Egyptian King.

(4) Cole Palmer:

Cole Palmer’s three assists and a goal against Wolves in the last league game is enough to send warning signals to everyone who doubted what the midfielder is capable of doing whenever he is allowed to play in a central position. The Englishman is expected to replicate the same form when the Blues host Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.

(5) Son Heung-Min:

The South Korean scored two goals in their last game against Crystal Palace, he is one of the best captain choice as he is expected to at least get a return against Newcastle United in FPL Week 3.
